Project Info | Training of Fire Extinguishing System for Taicang Port Phase IV Completed by Leewell

Taicang Port Phase IV project is a provincial key project approved by Jiangsu Provincial Development and Reformation Committee. The project fully implements the requirements of "building a world-class smart port, green port and safe port", and proposes to build four 50,000-ton container berths and related supporting facilities.
An automatic fire extinguishing system adopting a sensor-tube for fire detection is a newly-emerging advanced type that falls into the category of fixed non-electric self-starting fire extinguishing system. The system is composed of a fire extinguishing agent storage steel cylinder and flexible fire detection sensor tubes. When the fire detection sensor-tube at the potential fire source cracks due to the heat generated by fire, the extinguishing agent will be immediately released to put out the fire point-to-point, and transmit the fire alarm to the management department through the intelligent data collector. This system solves the fire prevention problem of small spaces prone to fire accidents, such as electrical equipment and control boxes, which has plagued the fire industry for a long time.
In November 2021, the training of fire extinguishing systems for the 6 STS cranes of Taicang Port Phase IV project was successfully carried out in the Office of Engineering Technology Department of Taicang Zhenghe International Container Co, Ltd.
The training containing the following two parts was conducted by the technical team of Leewell Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd.
1.Product application cases and the technical advantages of automatic fire extinguishing system for Quay Cranes.
2.Maintenance measures of fire extinguishing system.
Together with the leaders of the Engineering Technology Department of the customers, we went to the Quay Crane electrical room for on-site training, and gave on-site introductions on product alarm handling, cylinder maintenance, and working principle of the system in case of fire. The engineers of the Engineering Technology Department of Taicang Zhenghe International Container Co, Ltd. who participated in this training expressed their compliments about our product craft and product stability. The training was completed!
